As a new type of fused synthetic refractory, Fused Zeilanite is synthesized by the superfine MgO and ferric chemical material, after mixing, melting, briquetting, naturally drying, fusing at high temperature in electric smelter and naturally cooling, by adjusting the current and voltage, maintaining the tiny reduction to avoid the generation of simple substance Fe during the process. Zeilanite possesses the main properties such as low contents of SiO2 and CaO, low impurity, even surface crystal, maximum 98% for total content of magnesium and iron, fine thermal stability, high anti-corrosion and abrasive resistance. Zeilanite is mainly applied in the production for Zeilanite Brick, which used in calcining zone of large scale kiln due to its properties such as firmly suspending the kiln coating, protecting refractory brick, lightening the destructive effect of thermal stress, chemical erosion and mechanical stress, lengthening the working life, reducing the consuming of refractory, as well as resolving chromite-free requirement for cement kiln.
